Confessions of a Paris Party Girl

Moving to a new country is very hard, but for Vicki Lesage, it’s (almost) a breeze. Aside from getting used to the stairs, the occasional perv on the subway, and all the French guys willing to give her a good time, she loves her new place in Paris. So much that she decided to make it her home. Confessions of a Paris Party Girl,  is her memoir about how she survives (and loves) Paris.

I loved this book. It was so funny and held my attention, which is hard for some memoirs. There were several points when I laughed out loud, and other things I found insane and kind of cool (the French really only work for a small portion of the workday and socialize for the remainder?) This was a really good read, that was fairly quick, and funny. I’d recommend this book to anyone who wants to go to Paris, learn about Paris, or have a few laughs. It’s a really great book, and I can’t do it justice right now due to an incredibly bad head cold. But if you can, I’d suggest you read it.
